Improve Something?
The good news is that it only takes a few short minutes.
The _better_ news is that it requires only a few non-strenuous muscle movements: making a couple clicks; choosing File/Print; lifting up a piece of paper, etc..
But the BEST news is that it's FUN, too!
Improve Something sign and
take a nice picture with it.
It's that simple.
Semi-amusing step-by-step instructions are provided below -- describing what shouldn't take you more than five to ten minutes, tops! (unless you're one of those people who can't find their camera when they want to use it -- or discover that their printer is out of toner; Murphy's Law; and so on). In which case, it could take you a full fifteen minutes.
So let's time it, k?
Set.
Go!
1. Print out the Improve Something sign.
(use your computer's File/Print option after clicking here or here)
2. Hold up the print-out, flash a peace sign, and snap a picture.
3. Upload your photo to the web.
4. Email us the link (or post it in the comments) and we'll add your photo to the Improvement Movement Collection!Email to: photos@improvesomething.com MySpace Comments: MySpace.com/ImproveSomething Blog Comments: Post your photo link(s) here
Use any (or all) of the above to send your creative effort to us.
5. Post your picture to your own website, blog, myspace, etc..TinyPic.com auto-creates posting codes for myspace, etc.
And after you're done posing with the piece of paper, instead of tossing it in the garbage, Recycle!
6. Find somewhere cool to pin-up the print-out(s).And if you really want to go all out:
7. Repeat the above steps with different poses!(or xerox a dozen signs and ask your friends to join the fun!)
Give your picture-phone or digital camera a good work-out.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I can say with 99% certainty that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory drops, the possibility of transferring our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about all the time.
